Take Heart!!!

David was a man who encountered many trials and tribulations while also being blessed and victorious. He was one of the many chosen by God to do great exploits, which required that he be tested and tried in almost every way possible. I can't speak for you, but I am not sure if I would have been able to hide out in caves and be on the run for years because someone was chasing me without valid cause. But then again, we encounter these same hardships without having to hide in caves. The enemy is constantly on our trails, attempting to devour us in our health, finances, marriages, children, etc.
I will admit there have been times I wanted to hide or run away, but it is impossible to run away from yourself. Life has the potential to become so overwhelming that you want to shut it off and can't. There are many individuals who feel helpless and will go to any length to stop the pain and suffering that comes with living day-to-day life. There have even been some who have either considered suicide or actually taken their own life because the pressure was too much to bear. I can honestly admit I have been in this place also. I felt it would be easier to end it all, but then I thought about it and decided there must be another way.
You see, the enemy wants to trick us out of our lives anyway. He wants us to forfeit the promises and blessings of God that are predestined for our lives. It would bring him great pleasure for us to curse God and die so that he would feel justified in his attempt to forfeit his place in the heavenly kingdom.
I do not know what you are going through today, but you are not alone. Oftentimes we look at others and ASSUME he or she is fine because they are smiling and LOOK wealthy, without realizing "more money means more problems and responsibilities." Do you know how many people hide behind their smiles? I am one of those people, and I do it well.
I want to encourage you today with this word...
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Life was never meant to be easy because if it was, then we wouldn't need faith. But Jesus came that we would have peace in Him and through Him. He said, "take heart," meaning be of good courage and be confident even in your suffering, knowing that He conquered the cross, temptations, and the enemy. The enemy only has the power to do what we give him access and authority to do, but we have been given the power and authority through Christ to tread upon the enemy.
Take some time this week to meditate on the word to build up your confidence in God. The word is your ammunition against the wiles of the enemy. Do not let your feelings and emotions overpower you, but you take control and let life know that YOU ARE THE BOSS, and your momentary afflictions will not dominate and keep you from your next level of blessings!!! I believe in you, and the Holy Trinity is backing you, so with that being said, "TAKE HEART!!!!"
You got this!!!! You can do ALL things through CHRIST who strengthens you!
